GRAMMY-nominated production duo Disclosure is back with their third single from their upcoming studio album ENERGY titled “Douha (Mali Mali),” following “My High” featuring slowthai and Aminé.
The song features rising Malian singer-songwriter Fatoumata Diawara and the music video directed by multidisciplinary artist Mahaneela was shot in three countries and nine locations, including Como, Italy, Johannesburg, South Africa, and New York. “Right now, all over the world, we’re going through an incredibly strange time. I wanted to make something that was visually beautiful, but also felt symbolic of what we’re all going through,” director Mahaneela said of the visual. “People feel more isolated than ever and I wanted to create something joyful that really shows the power music and movement has and the connectivity it brings.”
